1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Kurdlingo (“Kurdlingo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the Kurdlingo mobile application, related websites, and services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Kurdlingo is a language-learning app that teaches Sorani and Kurmanji Kurdish through short lessons, daily streaks, and leaderboard-based leagues, with English support throughout. Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if that age is higher, to create a Kurdlingo account. If we learn that we have collected information from a child in violation of this section, we will delete the account and associated data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide (including your name and email) and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away at xdniklaus@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass or endanger another learner, including in leaderboards or leagues;
• Attempt to access another user’s account or interfere with the Service’s normal operation;
• Use automation, bots, or scripts to inflate lesson completions, streaks, or league standings;
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell any part of the Service without our written consent.

6. Learning Progress & Streak Data

The Service tracks the lessons you complete, your streaks, and your league standing so we can show your progress and rank you against other learners. This data is tied to your account and is not used for anything outside operating and improving the Service. See our Privacy Policy for how this data is handled.

7. Content You Submit

You retain ownership of any content you submit through the Service, such as profile information or written exercise answers (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights necessary to submit it.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third parties to operate, including Apple (sign-in), Resend (transactional email), and Sentry (crash and error reporting). Your use of features built on these services is also subject to those providers’ own terms and privacy practices.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the app’s account settings, or by emailing xdniklaus@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your account poses a risk to the Service or other users.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL MAKE YOU FLUENT OR THAT LESSON CONTENT IS FREE OF ERROR.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KURDLINGO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Kurdlingo harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law
